Olay Regenerist Ingredients

If you’re looking for a foundation that won’t settle into fine ...

The Olay Regenerist line is probably one of the most well-known brands in the skin care market. Olay Regenerist for wrinkles is the first ever product launched by the brand. If you come to look at its packaging, you will get the impression that it is a high-end product because of its expensive looking jar and professionally made box. Considering that it is only sold for , many people got excited to try it out of thinking that they can get to use a high-quality cream for only a low price.

A product testing on this brand was conducted for three weeks involving two dozen respondents. In terms of application, Olay Regenerist reviews stated that it is not greasy and does not feel heavy on the skin. However, the cream is a little pungent and may be uncomfortable if you are going to wear it for a long time. Moreover, Olay Regenerist reviews from professionals initially praised this brand for containing peptide based ingredients such as elastin which works on the cellular level and is very known to be effective in terms of minimizing wrinkles.

On the other hand, this brand contains parabens, a component which does not have a pretty good reputation in terms of being used as an ingredient for wrinkle creams. Even though it hasn't been officially proven, parabens have been linked in some studies to cause damage to the skin and illnesses.

In terms of effectiveness, Olay Regenerist reviews aren't looking up very good either. Even though the brand claims to smoothen and restore the elasticity of the skin, reviews from respondents of the testing negated it with their Olay Regenerist reviews, by saying that they did not noticed any improvements on their skin at all. It can therefore be concluded that this brand seemed to have let their low pricing affect the quality of their brand by putting small percentages of effective ingredients on its formulation.

Do you have to buy facial lotion AND eye lotion? Are they trying to rip you off?
I bought Olay Regenerist facial lotion and they had the eye lotion also to buy. I read the ingredients and they looked almost exactly the same. They were both $16.99. Is there really a difference in eye lotion and facial lotion or are the companies just trying to get more money from you?

There is absolutely a difference between facial moisturizers and eye creams. Both are very important. You’re not getting ripped off – use them both!

Is it time to switch to a different face cream?
I have been using Aveeno Daily Mosturizer and Night time cream for about ten years. I started at 25 and I am now 35 years old. My face is flawless and smooth. So my question is should I switch to something like the new Oil of Olay Regenerist or should I stick with Aveeno. The new Aveeno products have SPF of up to 40 and a new ingredient (shitake mushroom extract believed to have some curative anti cancer properties). Thoughts??

alot perfume in it but is amazing to erase and prevent wrinkles.

Does Oil of Olay Regenerist contain the same ingredients as Strivectin?
I was told by an acquaintance that Regenerist is about the same as Strivectin. Is this true?

what age group can use Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher?
It is very confusing to understand what products I can use for my age (30). Even when you ask a shop assistant in a good shop you can see that he/she knows no more than I do. I spend ages in the shop studying the ingredients but still struggle with my choice. In my native country each beauty product has an age range printed on it. PLEASE HELP!

name brand moisturizer vs store brand?
Okay I’m deciding which I should go for.

Olay regenerist has a rep for being an excellent moisturizer. it beat out some of the worlds most expensive creams. It has amino acids and proteins, and lipids that are excellent for your skin. I snuck some of my moms and I love how it makes my skin feel. It feels super soft and the cream itself feels like butter- whipped and creamy. A little bit goes a long way. Its also a little less than $30

The CVS brand Has similar ingredients but lacks the amino acids, aloe, proteins and such. However, this is a little less than $20.

I want a good moisturizer I can stick to because of how important moisturized skin is to maintaining skin elasticity and youthfulness and health. Olay regenerist has anti aging properties in it anyhow which means I wouldn’t have to graduate to anti aging products any time in the near future

What ingredient is the skin on my wrists allergic to?
I have occasional contact dermatis for the last 3 years. I know all dish liquids now seem to cause my wrists to itch as tiny red bumps appear, EVEN the hypoallergenic kind like seventh generation. I has discovered huggies natural care unscented baby wipes have the same effect but not huggies gentle care sensitive baby wipes. And sadly now it seems Olay Regenerist lotion does too, but it works great on my face! Ingredient comparisions is not helping and my military doctor won’t refer me to a specialist but just keeps giving me a tropical cream: triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% which does clean things up and stops the itching
