You don't need a class really, but Snazaroo - www.snazaroo.us - offers free classes.Silly Farm - www.sillyfarm.com - is selling a Snazaroo pro kit for only 5 this month (of course there are many cheaper kits as well!). If you're serious, that's a great price for a lot of face paint.
Join the Google Group facepainthq (sign up can be found on the Snazaroo US homepage) for a great resource.

ANSWER:
I have never heard of a formal class for face painting. A friend of mine & I, years ago just for fun, went to a clown school at our local rec center. We learned how to be a clown, face painting, balloon animals & silly magic.I would recommend just finding some great books on face painting or even different make-up tricks because these can come in handy too.
There is a web site that sells supplies for face painting & videos to learn. It is a company called T. Myers. They do a lot w/ clowning, but once you learn the basics of the whole face painting thing, you can just be adventurous. I work w/ a lady who works at MAC who uses a lot of stencils to do her really awesome looks for herself & her clients. It is just about being an artist & doing your own thing. Get some supplies & just ask people to sit still & practice on them.
This is the link to the T. Myers site so you can see what they offer:

QUESTION:
How do you help your kid with drawing or illustrating homework?
My kids often have homework that involves drawing or illustrating a "favorite part of the story", or "what you did over the weekend", or "My Best Friend and I". Or, draw 4 pictures and write about the "1. problem", "2. setting", "3. characters", "4. solution/ending" of a storybook. They are often stuck, for example, with animal faces, or drawing a "kid sitting" or "a picture of my room". The teachers seem to follow the logic "give them pencils, markers, paper and leave the rest to their imagination". This doesn't work for my kids.
How do your kids do with drawing (in class and at home). Do you help them? I have tried art/drawing classes, but while they make frameable masterpieces in the class, they are again stuck when drawing by themselves. They are good at using different media like water colors, paints, but when it comes to "drawing" they are often frustrated.
Any advice? Other than "let them use their imagination". I've tried that already. I've also tried having them "look at objects", and draw them. didn't work.
So, how do you help your kids if they need help with drawing or illustrating in their homework?
How do you "teach" a kid to draw? After all, they are taught "to write a paragraph or story", "to comprehend a story". shouldn't they also get some help with "drawing"?-
ANSWER:
Definitely leave all of the ideas to your kids to come up with (it seems like you are already doing that). I would say that when they know what they want to draw but can't figure out exactly how to do it (ex. How do you draw a person kneeling) draw one yourself and explain step by step how you are doing it so they can try to follow your lead on their own papers. Drawing it FOR them (as others suggested) should not be an option. Kids should do their own homework and teachers can tell the difference between an adults drawing and a kids drawing. I'm sure you wouldn't want your kids to be known by the school as the kids with the mother who does their homework for them!I'm sure the teachers aren't expecting Rembrandts from your kids so it's okay if the pictures don't look perfect. It is much more important that they think about what they want to draw, the story behind it, and that they attempt to make an applicable drawing. They could certainly end up picking up these skills after practice, but some people are also just not especially gifted in art which is also fine.

QUESTION:
Having trouble learning to draw?
I have always loved art. Drawing in particular, Since I was a kid I would draw, particularly cartoons and anime, though I mainly focus my interest on life-art although i still enjoy drawing anything...the problem is, I've never been very good.I guess I was never really talented. I would love drawing, and people I knew would say How good a drawer I am, But I never knew proper techniques, didn't know how to shade, didn't know which pencils to use for what kind of drawing, and the sad thing is, I still don't.So I'm 13 now, and had never had an art lesson in my life, I do not have any proper technique..I don't KNOW any proper techniques. I have no Idea what kind of supplies I need to draw certain things, I have no knowledge of the terminology used in certain kinds of art, I have no real sense or knowledge of the development of the styles/genres of art, I have no idea how to shade/grade at all, I can't colour, I have no idea how to use a paintbrush, how to paint etc.
Is it too late to learn? Not only draw but paint, using paints and colours as well, Learn the techniques, for drawing, painting, shading etc.
Perhaps becoming better at drawing faces, portraits and people in general, Or maybe cartooning or detailed anime, and learn how to paint fantastic scenic views from my own imagination? Is it possible to learn all this? I mean, I'll say, I'm crap, so should I take lessons? and learn almost all I can about art? Is drawing something a few talented people can actually achieve? What should I do if I want to improve? Should I take lessons? Is there anywhere online with a comprehensive tutorial to get me started with drawing? Is it truly possible to become a true, talented artist (drawer and painter) in realistic, fantasy and cartooning/Anime art? What does it take? How and when did you learn? Could you share your experience with learning and your fascination with art and drawing?I mean I see paintings/ drawing on websites such as deviant like these:
http://mapame.deviantart.com/art/Eye-76906354
http://theaphex.deviantart.com/art/Joker-costumes-102303626
http://monster242.deviantart.com/art/Winter-portrait-85370940
http://angela-t.deviantart.com/art/Wolf-Portrait-45128437
and secretly hope maybe one day, I'll be as good as them. I know it's an extremely stupid thing to think about, and don't get me wrong, I know it's not going to happen...But...you know. I just wonder what kind of training they had...how young they started, how gifted an talented the would have had to have been from a young age.
While I'm 13 and can't really do anything.
I know people are going to tell me to take some lessons just to try it out, but I'm worried that I probably will make an idiot of myself, because I would assume most people my age who take art lessons would have been doing so for years, which Is a thought that kind of scares me...So if there's anyone who can be bothered to talk to me about all these problem I have (as stupid as they sound) I would really appreciate it, I don't expect you to, but someone who could just give me some advice from time to time would be really helpful as well...
my MSN is: the_infamous_@hotmail.com
I'm really Sorry for all those questions, I knew there were allot and that they sounded really stupid, thinking back, I guess I shouldn't have wasted your time asking so much, but thank you for answering nonetheless, I really appreciate it..

I'm in my 20's and just starting to learn how to draw, you have 7 years on me. I just googled stuff to learn how to draw and use propper techniques. Also go out and buy a drawing book. ANYONE can draw. Some are naturally gifted yes, but with enough practice anything you set your mind to will be achieved!

QUESTION:
How can I better myself as an entertainer?
I love children. And I love to entertain them, it is my passion to see children laughing and smiling and having a good time. My act doesn’t amuse them very much, however. There isn’t much I can do with my act, but I have trouble thinking of new ideas because my current ones really make some kids laugh. And I have trouble putting myself out there because the children’s parents do not like me very much, even though I am very nice and polite. They have actually called the police on me a lot even though my act is completely natural. My act involves my penis. I like to strap a colorful little vest I made myself onto the shaft of my penis, a little sombrero I also made myself onto the head of my penis, and draw a smiley face on the “face” of my penis. I call him “El Pene’. He has magical powers. When I take off his hat and stroke my penis up and down, it makes him squirt white milky stuff that gets all over the kids’ faces, although I have a little trouble doing it with the vest on my shaft and doing it multiple times. El Pene can also transform to a hot dog in a bun, but that is about it… Anybody could give me some new ideas for my show?-
ANSWER:
Yea, I can sort of see a problem here. First off you have to realize that kids are really just little people. Its hard to entertain kids if you cant entertain adults. Some people try too hard to "dumb" down their act when kids are involved by doing things you think they will think is funny or humerus. But since kids are just little people, most of the time they will enjoy the same things big people enjoy. What you need, is to practice your act in front of an adult audience until you can see you are making progress with your act.One entertainer I would like you to consider is Johnny Cash. Yea, I know his act is different but there is something you can take away from him and a few other entertainers of his time. Johnny Cash liked to do performances from prison! That got him a LOT of street credibility and its probably something your act is lacking. Give it some thought, can you not imagine the benefits of working on your act in front of a captive audience at a local prison until you perfect it and come up with some material that is more appropriate for children? If I were your agent ,or your parole officer, I would definitely do my best to steer your career in entertainment in that direction. Good luck with my advice!

QUESTION:
Why do people still draw pictures when they are teenagers or adults?
When I was a kid I used to draw pictures of stuff, all of my classmates did it too. As I grew up I grew out of that kiddy phase of drawing. Everyone in my classes did too, all through middle and high school nobody liked to draw because it was a thing for children to do. Now im seeing 14 year olds that STILL draw little pictures, and even worse, I see young adults that still draw! It disgusts me that they still have not grown out of that childhood garbage, it's almost like they still carry around a blanky. Nobody seems to understand me, plenty of kids in elementary school draw, but they normally grow out of that phase, or atleast that's how it used to be, I'm a teacher now, and I constantly have to tell these dumb kids in my class to stop drawing, all they do is sit there is draw IDK little animals or wolves? I became a teacher because I wanted to, but this is not how I expected it to turn out, I've tried many times to tell my students that drawing is not a part of education, education involves math, science, history, ACTUALLY learning things, art does not teach you anything productive, your art teacher can teach you alllll about how to paint or properly use clay but what does that do for your future education, nothing, you can't go to a job interview and tell the people "I can draw a picture of a flower". However learning math or something ACTUALLY takes part in what these kids future holds. They need to face the facts, and grow up. Why do these kids still draw?-
ANSWER:
This is one of the most narrow-minded thinking I've ever heard. So are you saying people like Leonardo da Vinci are just worthless adults stuck indulging on childhood activities? You realize art is a big part of our society right? It's pretty much all around us.When we are young yes we doodle, but people move on from doodling to professional art work. There are many jobs out that is centered around that; for example who do you think create the images on your textbooks? It's the artists. You keep talking as if there are no jobs out there for artists, and no future in it. They wouldn't dedicate colleges to just art if it wasn't important.
As an artist myself, what you've said is pretty insulting. I honestly feel that your the one that needs to open your eyes and grow up.
Also in another question you've ask elsewhere, you disclosed that you were 14. So either your a liar, or the school hired a 14 year old teacher.

QUESTION:
How do I get my 16 month daughter more interested in art?
She is 16 months old I want to get her to enjoy art with me, I think it is an important part of learning. At the moment she just scribbles for a minute then gets up and goes away. Her cousins love drawing and one is nearly the same age as her she is drawing people and faces already. I know all kids are different and I don't expect her to be the same as her cousin but all the same I want to encourage her. What kinds of materials could I get? What kind of activities would be good to keep her interested rather than just paper and crayons?
Ok ok no need to get so deep I am not trying to force her to be an artist I only wanted to know what kind of art materials would she find more fun thatn crayons since she obviously isn't interested in them...
I don't even like art I just thought it would be fun for her-
ANSWER:
she is still kind of young for formal art. Crayons are good for now and non toxic finger paint. Also, put her in her high chair with pudding and let her paint with that and she can eat it while she goes along.

ANSWER:
Nothing you can do.
Chill, it isn't serious.
The worst you will get if you do get in trouble at all is probably D-hall or ISS for a day.
At the least you will get off scott free or have a discussion with your teacher about your actions.

QUESTION:
I don't know him... but I kind of have a crush on him. Say wuut?
Our substitute didn't show up for one of my classes the other day, so I went to a different lunch than usual. I sat with some friends... and a boy I'd never seen before. When I saw his face, I kid you not, shivers ran through me. His face looks just like the face I draw on any boy character I want to look cute.
I was very shy. I couldn't even introduce myself, like I normally try to do.Then I looked him up on my friend's facebook and went through his profile pictures.. (You know you do it too.) He's a talented surrealist photographer. And his face. I just like his face so much.
The friends of mine he was sitting with are very intelligent people, which means he must also be intelligent.
HOW can I have a mini crush on someone I've never spoken to? And should I tell my friend who is friends with him? Or would that be weird? I think it would be weird for me, because I neeever do stuff like that. Help?
-
ANSWER:
Sounds like love at first sight to me! This happens all the time, you just see someone and your like omg! But I would try to get to know him better before going further with this. His personality might be as great as his face, but than again, it may not. So hopefully he's as great on the inside and than you can talk to your friend about him! Good Luck!

It's not weird to like someone you don't know. My friends and I facebook stalk the randomest people in our school all the time. Actually, one time my friend who happened to know a guy a grade ahead of us, well, we all ran into him in the streets, (and then again later that day) so even though we'd only met him twice, We fb stalked him for legit an hour. QUESTION:
I know that my roommate's kid hits mine because his parents hit him, but how can I show them this?
My roommates harshly punish their kid all the time. The mom and dad both spank, pull his ear, and the other day, the dad slapped the kid in the face. Today the kid slapped my kid in the face. It's hard to draw the line between hitting kids and abuse. In fact, I believe that anytime one person physically hurts another, unless it's in fun or sport, it's abuse, so it's especially hard for me to see any line. By the way, their kid is 3, and mine just turned 2.My goal is not to get my roommates separated from their child. I just want them to see how their hitting causes negative outcomes in their child, namely that he hits our child. I don't want to have arguments about the positives and negatives of spanking. I just want to show them research that is easy to read that directly shows that what they do to their kid is causing what their kid does to my kid.
I would also like an article from a reliable source that shows a better way to train a kid to be good.
-
ANSWER:
You are absolutely right. Kids only learn what they are taught. If they are taught that you strike out when you feel you are not in control, that is what they will do. You will never get through to these people without intervention by DFS or whatever its called in your area. Even after losing (or killing) their kids, they still wont get it. Even after their kid kills someone they will excuse their actions.
My advice is to find another place to live.

QUESTION:
Are TV shows and movies made with computer animation a positive influence for children?
They are not from my perspective.I began drawing at a very early age inspired by cartoons and animated movies. The backgrounds on the movie Beauty and the Beast made me want to take oil painting lessons. The movie the Lion King made look for animal picture books, it made me visit the zoo, so I could draw animals.
It was cartoons that made me want to learn how to draw faces, hands and feet. It was cartoon that gave me ideas on what to draw over and over again.
Today there are too many computer animated movies and TV shows. Even the cartoons don't have much art behind them. Cartoons such as Phineas and Ferb are made heavily relying on computers. I can tell the backgrounds are done with computers, there's no art behind them. The characters' animation rely heavily on Flash animation, the art is just not there.
Cartoons used to inspire kids to draw,
What positive thing is coming from computer animation?
-
ANSWER:
No art? I think your view of art is too limited. There isn't a person in the world who wouldn't believe that the gorgeous landscapes created in the pixar studios are not art. They are indeed art. Art of the highest caliber. And like all art, art is changing. Computers are just the new brushes used by artists. The old cartoons, drawn by warner brothers and other American cartoon studios were no greater art then the stuff you find on cartoon network today. it's just different. It takes an artists a long time to render digital art. I know some people think that rendering is automatic, but that's just not the case. Of course they have time saving tricks that they use, just like any artists. (American studios used to export the in between frames to other countries to get them done faster. Some still do)Don't let yourself get stuck in one frame of mind as to what art is. Expand your mind and open up to new possibilities. You will be pleasantly surprised.

QUESTION:
How can I get these kids off my back and fast?
I got to a school with mostly African Americans.I am a senior in high school and I'm the type of person who wants to fit in and be accepted for who I am. I really don't care if you don't like me, but if you have to be in my face everyday, putting me down, and insulting me in front of other kids, that draws the line.
I have a terrible reputation that I cannot shake off. I have a reputation of the weird crazy girl that gets made fun of. I would rather have a reputation of a slutt than the reputation that have now.
I don't like being ghetto and loud and I don't like flirting and having sex with every boy I see/meet. I don't like talking back to the teachers and acting grown.
One senior from last year told everybody that she though that I was in special Ed because I would not say that much in class.
Since I am a senior and most seniors don't bother me because all they want to do is graduate, I guess the freshmen and eleventh graders want to take the seniors place in bullying me. The freshmen and juniors are spoiled ghetto brats who have no home training.
I just don't like being unpopular and I think it's not fair that I don't have any friends. I actually had an outburst one day about how the my school would end up like Virginia Tech since I was being bullied soooo badly. The teacher tried to get my classmates to shut up, but they kept acting like brats and ignored her. I almost got expelled and I'm not returning to school until Monday to appeal so that I do not get expelled. My mom yelled at me a little, but she understood me.
I'm actually thinking of becoming a bully myself.

I had that problem myself a few years ago, basically the best way to make them shut up is to literally shrug and say "ok" or "that's cool", something they really can't reply to. Fighting with them only makes things worse and saying nothing makes you look spineless. Good luck though, you're almost done with it.

QUESTION:
Way to change your lopsided smile?
I know this sounds like kind of a silly question and that everyone has a beautiful smile (ladi yadi ya)...but I realize that I have kind of a weird smile. I recently took a picture with a few friends and noticed that I was the only one that doesn't have the U type of shape to my smile. Most people tend to have a U with a line on top (like what kids would draw for a mouth). Mine, however, is like a U at the bottom and then kind of a slight inverted U at the top. It's not noticeable to others probably but I tried to do one of those online makeover things that let you try out different looks and when they superimposed that type of smile on my face, I just noticed how much better it looked.Anyone know if there's a way to practice a different smile?
-
ANSWER:
just try practicing in the mirror. your mouth is muscle, you just have to learn how to control it! good luck

QUESTION:
Why hate John Cena? + BQ?
It is NOT his fault that he has only 7 moves he does all the time. It is NOT his fault that he wins all the time and it is NOT his fault that he's still a face.Face the facts, Vince found himself a money maker. John is relevant to children and draws fans in. That's just facts, Vince markets what he knows will bring him money.
And at this time, CHILDREN is what's drawing in the money. It's the kids who buy the merchandise and the kids who always come to the shows. John Cena is a face and kids love him. What is wrong with that?
Vince is the reason he's still a face and his move set is watered down. Vince is also the reason why he wins so much, don't want to disappoint the children do we?
Besides if half of the people on here weren't children they would have saw John in OVW and saw him when he debuted and his first years on raw. John has talent and charisma, John is the face of WWE. Unfortunately for him Vince decided to let him be the backbone of WWE and with that comes the responsibility of being the top face and of course with that he has to be molded into the perfect role model for children.
So no, it's not John's fault. It's Vince's and the creative team. I understand not liking John and not liking how he wins everything but don't try and say it's John's fault when he has no control over things like this. He can say he maybe wants to go in this direction but Vince is the boss what Vince wants Vince gets. That's just the truth.
I always liked John back when he debuted and yes I myself am sad he wins every match and I am sad that his gimmick is so squeaky clean. I want the Dr. of Thugonomics back
It's immature and quite frankly lame hearing so many Cena hate jokes. Get new material and stop b#thcing none stop about things you don't like. It's annoying.
BQ: Despite if you hate John or not, give him props what was his best match do you think?
Exactly! Why can't you just say I hate his character instead of I hate John Cena. I think a lot of people can't discern character from person, I've seen people give John death threats before. I mean guys it's his CHARACTER you hate not his person or maybe you just flat out hate him but discern between the two.
There is a difference between FACT and B#TCHING so your statement is irrelevant.-

I didn't read your long description, because I've heard all the arguments before. But my opinion can be summed up in 3 words = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEzc4In18ac&feature=related

QUESTION:
Why am I soo embarassed to like/draw anime?
Well here's my story... My mom is a painter/hair stylist/ ex model. So you can imagine how much I love the arts. As a child I would paint, sculpt, and draw (mostly draw) manyy things.. then around age nine I got REALLLY into anime. I had moved away from my old snobby neighborhood to a new small town around 2 hours away from the old one .I was getting better and better.. and was very talented for a nine year old girl. Well I had this friend, she was two years older then me at the time. She was 11 and in middle school still in the snobby neighborhood. She told me that drawing and ecspecially anime is weird. So I got embarrased and stopped for good. I started focousing on hair and makeup and was wearing a full face of it by the time I was 11. I was really good at it.. and now I am loooking to pursue a career in it. I am 16 years old and recently I have been secretly drawing anime. Back when I went to highschool (around a year ago.. im homeschooled now for other reasons.) I was the long blonde haired girl, blue eyes, very styleish, and deffinately not someone you would call an anime kid. When I draw anime.. I sometimes stop and get embarrassed because I think of all the obnoxious, weird, greasy kids from anime club and I feel ashamed. It's not the anime that makes them that way.. it's just them being weird. But people who are weird like that usually openly talk about how they're obsessed with anime.. and so people think.. wtf anime is weird.. O_o. And I know people would be shocked and weirded out if I told them I like it. And you know what's weird... even when I commented on how I liked a girl's anime drawing in class... people got all weirded out and thought I was just messing with her.. Then she closed her notebook and stared into the distance.. I felt soo bad because I was actually complimenting her. So I talked to her after class and told her I really meant it. She invited me over to her house after school to hang out, and then afterwards when i got home.. I felt soo weird. I felt so rude that I was embarrased to be around her... I never voiced it to anyone, I just felt that way. When people asked me about it, I said she was sweet. But i felt weird.
WHY AM I SUCHA BITCH? D:
and why is it soo bad when people like something different and even beautiful..?
Why am I soo embarrased?
WHY AM I UP THIS EARLY IN THE MORNING THINKING ABOUT THIS??? D:-
ANSWER:
Hi , ahem - that is somehow offensive to me. Because i like anime and like drawing them D:
Aaaand that doesn't make me weird, it just shows that im talented in drawing UNLIKE stupid kids that game all day, they have no social life ( no offence ) buut , im not saying that gaming is bad, it's just better to have a useful talent then ... you know .There's nothing to be embarrassed about, its just drawing? Like gosh, there's different types of drawing why not laugh at popart? it's nowhere near as good as anime . And hello ? The so called " obnoxious, weird, greasy " from the " anime club " their probably just too talented for those mere mortals that cant draw for sh*t . Theres nothing to be ashamed about.
Although you dont have the looks to be an anime lover/liker/whatever , so what? Problem? Heey, you know what , best strategy IGNORE those little comments that go flying around, the more friends you make then more people would try to become your friend. So at first if no one is into anime and call it gay tell them - you cant anime for sh*t, so i wouldn't be talking. I just remembered isn't that kinda racist saying anime is gay? since its from asia and all? lol o.O
Think it as , WHAT IF you become or are popular people would try to take an interest in the things you like, for instance anime . So you should never be ashamed nor embarrassed about your own interests unless you lack self confidence or self esteem .
Hope this helps, sorry if its a little off track or ragey

QUESTION:
Do u consider Undertaker vs Chris Jericho to be a Wrestlemania dream match?
I sure as hell do. This match needs to happen at Wrestlemania 27.With WWE's horrible way of booking PPVs, I don't think there's any saving grace for Wrestlemania 27. It has 'the worst Wrestlemania' ever written all over it. The only saving grace from its downfall is Undertaker vs John Cena, but since WWE won't book the match cause they're afraid their little Cena will get booed, I think the only match that might be able to halfway save Wrestlemania 27 is Chris Jericho vs Undertaker.
Taker vs Jericho alone would eat the entire card alive if the match happens at WM 27. You can put Sheamus vs Goldberg, CM Punk vs Triple H, Edge vs Christian, and John Cena vs Randy Orton on the same card but Taker vs Jericho would still own them like a b*tch!! The Streak has gained a mythical reputation for over the years, both in the younger generation fans and older generation fans. And as you can see in the last two Wrestlemania, The Streak has become somewhat a bigger deal than both world titles. The last four Wrestlemanias has proved that The Undertaker could create classic matches (yes, even with Batista) if he's given the right main eventer.
Thanks to The Five Nobodies (Gonzales, Bundy, Boss Man, Train, and Henry), however, The Streak lacks big name and credibility it needs. Only another classic and another worthy name would fit and be able to follow two Wrestlemania matches with Shawn Michaels. One could argue that The Undertaker should face HHH or Punk or Sheamus next year, but let's not forget the match with HHH has been done before and neither Punk nor Sheamus got the 'name' to follow Mr. Wrestlemania. And Jericho is due for another Wrestlemania classic. His last Wrestlemania classic was against Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania XIX. After that, his Wrestlemania matches are abysmal and even his match with Edge this year was underwhelming. We all know both men are capable of putting great matches, so give this match a proper 20-40 minutes of back and forth wrestling, and trust me, we will witness a Wrestlemania classic for the ages. And let's not forget, although the outcome is pretty much obvious, this match would draw kids thanks to Undertaker and adults thanks to both men.
People saying Taker's and Jericho's style doesn't blend together is retarded. Chris Jericho chopping down The Undertaker would be more interesting and Jericho doesn't need power in his matches. Jericho's style enables him to adapt and use innovative maneuvers to counter The Undertaker. Shawn Michaels is a smaller wrestler then Jericho, but he put an amazing fight against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25. Chris Jericho is a better wrestler then nearly the entire roster and that is the deciding factor.
Chris Jericho vs The Undertaker would include more of their contrasting styles. Contrasting styles are more interesting then similar styles in matches because we get to see how the wrestlers react and counter each other. Chris Jericho is the loudmouth who is versatile in the ring because he has mat wrestling, brawling, and high flying. The Undertaker would be the powerhouse with brawling and agility as well. Just because you're bigger doesn't mean you put up better fights. Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Chris Benoit, Bryan Danielson, Ricky Steamboat, and many others are far superior wrestlers then many of the bigger men in wrestling history. Size doesn't make a difference in matches and just seeing power maneuvers over and over would be rather dull. Undertaker & Giant Gonzales had the same style during their match and we saw what happened. Undertaker & Shawn Michaels had the different style during their matches but of course we saw what happened. Both The Undertaker and Chris Jericho can carry feuds and both play their roles very well. And their skills on in-ring psychology surely goes without saying.
If u want to see how the match would be like, just watch Undertaker vs Kurt Angle at No Way Out 2006 or Undertaker vs Edge at Wrestlemania XXIV. Man, Taker vs Jericho at Wrestlemania 27 would eat the entire show alive.
-
ANSWER:
I would not call it a dream match but would call it the best match possible as of now. The dream match was Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at Mania 25. That was magical and that magic cannot be created again.

QUESTION:
What are some easy things to draw with chalk?
I need them to be kid oriented, easy to draw (for me to draw) and fun to do.
so far i have done cats, dogs, smiley faces, rainbows, etc.
(i'm leaving out the hop scotch idea. too over used)
the reason why i need to know is that my BF and i like to go to a local elementary school and draw on the sidewalk for fun. we only put kid appropriate things so don't worry lol.
we also drew balloons, peace signs, ying yang signs, penguins, a giraffe, the sun, etc.
and is there any way u can also send me a link having how-to draw things, or at least pics so i can figure it out.
it's for the kids!
and btw, why is it that when i ask a serious question i usually only get 3/4 answers...yet i just saw a question that was "how old do i look?" and there was 50 answers!! wtf?-
ANSWER:
How about an "Under The Sea" theme? How fun that would be? I did that for my children on our driveway and they loved it not to mention that we had the coolest driveway around.
I think what you and your friend are doing is a wonderful thing to do for children.
I wish there were more young people like you 2 around to bring happiness to others.as for the answering questions things... I check those 'pic' ? out cuz if it's a young person putting their pics online for the pervs to see it should be reported.
I'd ground my daughter for life if she did that.
Best of luck in your Art.

QUESTION:
I want to start to draw, is it too late? can I still enhance my creativity?
I just started watching One Tree Hill recently and I've been inspired by Peyton Sawyer to draw. I just think that her drawings are so great because of all the meanings and emotions behind it, and I, being an emotional person too, want to have that skill and just put out my feelings like that. And also, I, having no other talent, am hoping that this is it.. you know.. lol.Anyway, I'm 18 years old now and I wasn't really a drawing-lover as a kid. I mean, now I can doodle whenever I'm bored in class, draw my teacher's face (lol) in a noob way but I want to be GOOD or GREAT at it.
Do you think it's too late for me to learn how to REALLY draw? Can I still push my creativity to the next level? I mean, with singing, dancing and sports, it is a must that you start young so that you can be great at it, 'cause starting late wouldn't really change anything. Is it the same with drawing?
-
ANSWER:
nahhhh everyone will tell you its pretty much never too late, yeah it might take a while longer, but still never too late, lol i was the exact same, until i started drawing anime when i was about 16 and i still learnt it and now pretty good at 3 years later - it takes a lot of practice no matter how old you are, so it really doesnt matter when you decide to learn - either way it just takes tons of patience and practise so dont give up!
anyway good luck and happy drawing!

QUESTION:
‘Twas The Night Before Halloween?
Twas the night before Halloween and all through the place not a candy was left how could Momma save face? The kids were all tucked in their beds one through six while Momma was meeting her chocolate fix. The Hersheys were gone, the Snickers were, too, even the eyeballs with caramel goo. Wrappers and boxes and baggies galore littered the kitchen, the table and floor.
When what to Mom’s wandering eyes should appear but the floating Great Pumpkin with a glowering sneer. Shrieking in fright to her bed she did fly begging forgiveness for each pumpkin pie.
But the scene was a farce and not really real - the result of a sugar high and not the real deal. Still, the kids, now awake, cried out in shock when they discovered the candy bowl empty of stock.
“Hey, Mother, what gives? Where’s the candy galore? To the store you must go and get us some more!”
But none of the shops carried such folly. Instead they were decked with red bows and green holly.
“Christmas already? But it’s still October!”
“We’re sorry ma’am, trick-or-treating is over.”
“Oh, you can’t mean that!” mom cried, and looked hurt … as she throttled the clerk by the front of his shirt. “My kids are at home and they’re counting on me! Surely you must have some spooky candy!”
“Sorry again, ma’am, it really is true. In just a few weeks it’ll be Easter anew.”
Sometimes it happens, that a mom goes berserk. It could be at home or at church or at work. The pressures of life begin to take toll and Mom will assume an insane kind of role.
It happened that night, folks say in hushed whispers, when Momma took hostages while still in her slippers. “I want candy for goblins and I want it now! Bring me lollies and taffy and bags of brown cows!”
Even the cops couldn’t reason with Mum and they had to call Papa who came on the run. “Mother, dear Mother, please try to calm down. There’s plenty of candy all over town. Why, just as we speak the neighbors prepare to hand out some treats or a hearty good scare!”

“That’s right!” said dear Mom, “How could I have forgotten? There’ll be plenty of candy to make their teeth rotten. I just can’t explain it; can’t understand why. I’d completely forgotten the night that draws nigh.”
“Maybe you need to lay off the sweets. Let the kids get dressed up and do tricks or treats.”
Mom nodded dumbly and said with a frown, “I guess I’ve been foolish all over town. I just needed chocolate to help me keep calm, so hopefully we’ll forget this by the time it turns dawn.”
The town folks all said that they definitely did. They couldn’t recall that mom just flipped her lid. Well, who could blame her? Who’d even dare? Look at the kids that are in her good care. Sometimes they’re sweet and a joy to behold, but sometimes don’t do what they’ve simply been told.
It’s not easy on Mom, it’s not easy on Dad, to not go berserk with the blessings they’ve had. So maybe we all should—one night in October—allow moms and dads to hand sanity over. Let them go nuts; let them go wild. Remember it’s all for the sake of a child.

QUESTION:
is it too late to learn how to "draw"?
I just started watching One Tree Hill recently and I've been inspired by Peyton Sawyer to draw. I just think that her drawings are so great because of all the meanings and emotions behind it, and I, being an emotional person too, want to have that skill and just put out my feelings like that. And also, I, having no other talent, am hoping that this is it.. you know.. lol.Anyway, I'm 18 years old now and I wasn't really a drawing-lover as a kid. I mean, with singing, dancing and sports, it is a must that you start young so that you can be great at it, 'cause starting late wouldn't really change anything. Is it the same with drawing?
-
ANSWER:
No! I don't think so. I've been sketching and making oil posters since I was a kid but I was already 19 when I got into painting as a hobby. Even with a bit of background, I know my skills were just so-so(not trying to be humble at all!) but I got inspired when my then humanities prof liked my project-my first attempt at painting. Although now, I'd say it was actually quite bad. :p I usually paint portraits of loved ones as a gift and my brutally honest artsy sister approves of them so maybe their decent Also, there's a Filipino painter named Joey Velasco who actually started painting when he was already 38 years old but his works are nothing short of amazing. So yeah, it's never too late to learn something as long as you put your heart in it. =)

QUESTION:
I Really think I need some help?
Could you share your experience with learning and your fascination with art and drawing?I mean I see paintings/ drawing on websites such as deviant like these:
http://mapame.deviantart.com/art/Eye-769...
http://theaphex.deviantart.com/art/Joker...
http://monster242.deviantart.com/art/Win...
http://angela-t.deviantart.com/art/Wolf-...
and secretly hope maybe one day, I'll be as good as them.

ANSWER:
Don't worry it's not too late for you to learn more about drawing and painting. You can become great with just practice and art classes. Most people I know including me never really took any real art classes until high school so you're still on track.
Take some art classes in high school and don't worry because there are all types of artists learning. You'll find some that are better then you and some that aren't, but there is always going to be someone better then and just use that to drive you to be your best. When you start drawing post some on http://www.deviantart.com to get feed back on your work. There are all types of artists at different levels on there even. So just practice everyday if you can and start taking art classes in school and you'll be fine. You'll know pretty quickly if art is right for you. I'm 24 and still learning everyday.
Here's my page on deviantart:

QUESTION:
Is Dom Cobb stuck in a while loop?
Bear with me for a moment as i have a TOTALLY different view on the events of the movie Inception. Some of this is based on reading the insights of others, as i have only seen the film once. But the heart of my argument is original. The movie was awesome by the way! I will watch it again!Imagine Cobb and his wife are in Limbo together, creating their own world. Is it possible that Mal wants to leave and go back to reality? - Not because Cobb planted an idea on her but because she actually wants to leave on her own! Therefore she planted an idea on him!
This idea is that they have two kids. Cobb should then infer that they need to get back to reality to be with their two kids.
But in reality, they don't have any kids! Mal just uses an image (probably from a frame that has two kids in the picture playing in a yard with their backs turned) to implant this idea in Cobb's mind.
She let's Cobb believe that he is the one doing the inception, when really it was HER implanting an idea on Cobb. For an inception to hold, the mark must believe the idea was orignally his own. This idea grew on Cobb to the point where he actually created the kids' faces in his mind.Cobb and wife both kill themselves to get out of limbo and get closer to reality. What Mal didn't bank on is that Cobb would believe that their next dream world is reality. She knows that they are not in reality and that they have to kill themselves again. But Cobb does not cooperate since he thinks they are already in reality. He is using Mal's totem which is really useless to him since it is NOT originally his! In fact, the totem probably does everything Cobb expects it to do!
Mal kills herself and probably goes back to reality.Cobb thinks he is responsible for Mal's "death" and runs away. All the events in the movie ensue and it is all based on his burning desire to get back to his kids. But how come he has only one image of them in his mind if he loves them so much!
My question is why wasn't he thinking about the kids when he and Mal were off creating their own world together? When Cobb talks to the kids on the phone, we hear their voices but they are never seen.
Why are all his memories about Mal, and none are about the kids, except for this ONE image that keeps playing over and over in his mind? Even when he returns to them at the end of the movie, it is STILL to that same image of them playing in the yard with their backs turned.
Until Cobb realizes that his kids are NOT real, he will be stuck in a "while loop". Some have said the scene with Saito at the beginning of the movie, and the scene with him at the end are slightly different. This is the clue of a cyclic path. Also Ariadne draws a circular maze for Cobb to look at when they first met. He approved after dismissing the rectangular ones.
Mal (Cobb's guilt) makes reference to the agents chasing Cobb in supposed "reality", and how ridiculous it all was.-
ANSWER:
LOL... Well it's surely a TOTALLY DIFFERENT view, because it's based on your own IMAGINATION, not based on the details and scenes from the movie.
You are creating YOUR OWN VERSION of Inception.Yes, you surely need to watch it again after reading the details below. (^_^)
The movie is not that complicated. You can understand the whole concept if you paid attention to the details. Most of the answers are given to us in the very first scene. And it all leads to REALITY.
I watched it 3 times because it's AWESOME! I love the movie. (^o^)/DETAILS & explainations with PICTURES [sorry if the plot is still a mess]:

***** ***** *****
***** ***** *****Cobb kept thinking about the same scene when he had to run away, he regreted that moment because he didn't get the chance to say goodbye and saw his kids' face for the last time. So he he kept imagining the last moment he ever saw his kids [the latest/newest image he remembered from his kids].
And for he last scene, the kids CHANGED. See pictures in my blog and see for yourself.
***** ***** *****IF MAL IS RIGHT and she's trying to save Cobb who is stucked in a Limbo all along, she wouldn’t have to go through all the trouble, she can just kill Cobb from the start to wake him up. And she wouldn't be asking him to stay with her. And in the 4th level [dream] she also says that their real kids are there with her, and she calls for them so Cobb can see their face, but Cobb doesn't want to see, because he doesn't want to get confused. If Mal is right, how come Mal states that their "real" kids are in the limbo with her and Cobb?
Based on this, I put more focus on the next option.
***** ***** *****The scene in the beginning and in the near-end looks a bit different, but it is from the same scene. Nolan cuts some frames and uses different frames for the beginning and the ending, this is done to avoid boreness, he doesn't want to use exactly the same scenes. It's a storyline technique.
For instance, from the sequence of "ABCDEFGHIJ", he shows "ABDFG" in the beginning, and he shows ABCEHIJ in the end. (^_^)vABCDEFGHIJ [Full scene]
AB..D..FG...... [Beginning]
ABC..E....HIJ [Ending]***** ***** *****
***** ***** *****Short proof:
At ending, it wobbles --> REALITY.
In dreams Totem spins constantly & smooth, never wobbles.
If we listen carefully after the black out [not after the credits], there's a SOUND of the Totem WOBBLING n FALL.

"You know what, I'll just say this: Use your ears not your eyes."The only people who know the weight & feel of that totem are Mal & Cobb, and since Mal is dead, Cobb is the only one left who knows the totem’s tactile details.
So YES, he could certainly use it as a measure of reality, the totem was not “ruined” by him using it.
*
Cobb doesn’t wear a WEDDING RING in reality, but he wears a wedding ring in dreams [in dreams he's still together with Mal]. He doesn't wear it at the end.
*
He's not dreaming all along. After his mission to get Saito's secret, Cobb sitting in his hotel room alone, spinning the Top [Mal's Totem] and watching it intently, gun in hand. He's ready to blow his brains out if the top keeps spinning, in order to “wake himself up”.
*
THE KIDS looked a bit OLDER in the ending [see pictures on my link to compare dreams and the ending scene].
In the credits there are 2 pair of kids: Philippa (3 yo & 5 yo), James (20 months & 3 yo).
Claire Geare - Phillipa (3 years) & Magnus Nolan - James (20 months)
Taylor Geare - Phillipa (5 years) & Johnathan Geare - James (3 years)
*
The kids are wearing similar outfits to the ones he remembers [in his dreams], but their SHOES are different. In dreams they're wearing BLACK shoes, at the end Philippa wears PINK canvas shoes & James wears WHITE sport shoes.
Philippa wears a DIFFERENT PINK DRESS, sleeveless with an INNER WHITE SHIRT. In dreams she wears 1 piece of short-sleeves pink dress.
JAMES wears bluish-color shirt with thinner lines. In dreams he wears redish-color shirt with wider lines.
And there are PAINTING TOOLS & BRUSHES on the table.
*
Remember, almost all the major of the flick has been taking place in dreams, the MIND WORKS FASTER IN DREAMS. 5 minutes=1 hour; 10 hours=1 week. Dream time is longer than actual time (even longer as they go deeper into the dream, and much longer in Limbo). No reference about exactly HOW LONG Cobb has been away, we can't rely to the age of the kids as an indication that he’s in the real/dream world.

QUESTION:
why does everyone have a north face?
okay so i just wondered why does everyone have a north face? i mean like everyone? they are so expensive (like 200 dollars, correct me if im wrong) and yet everyone has one even like babies and ltitle kids and i just wondered how does everyone afford them? why are they so popular? does everyone just have huge bank accounts where they can easily draw out 1000+ dollars for their kids and themselves to each have a north face or north faces?-
ANSWER:
They are warm. They last long. And they don't refresh their styles too often. I have North Face pullover from high school (over 6 years ago), that looks just as good and as modern as ones in stores today.

QUESTION:
How can I improve my drawing skills?
I'm attending an art based high school but I only get art classes twice a week, you know because it's high school. Anyway, all these other kids are so talented. Almost everyone here's trying to get into Anime/Manga, I'm trying to get into american animation and american comic books, others do graffiti. Anyway I notice how i constantly make the characters look blocky when I start out with a round shape, I always get the size of an object wrong, and I put to much pressure on the pencil causing them to be heavily darkened which also makes the hard to erase. Facial features and coloring are another thing, I'm trying to learn shading, but I want the faces to look real, like when I'm drawing a kid and they look like their elderly because I detail it to dark. And can anyone show me a "Face map" for the characters..you know to show where the part's go. My older brother told me the eyebrows should start where the characters ears end but that's all i got! Can anyone give me tips to improve? My art "style" was kind of inspired by Bruce Timm, Ed McGuiness, Jack Kirby and Jim Lee.
Here's an exmaple of my drawings. I'm a fan of comic books so I drew what I think batman would look like if he ever went on smallville.http://www.deviantart.com/print/12400036/
-
ANSWER:
I'm a senior in art school and the only way you're going to get better is practice. Find artists you would like to emulate and try working in their style. If you only have class twice a week, practice in between classes! You don't need a teacher to practice - even for figure drawing. Take some art materials and go to a public place and sketch people that walk by! If you're into anime, watch a lot of it and study the way the characters are drawn.

QUESTION:
Do you think my Novel is good? Would you want to keep reading? ?
This is like a paragraph before the story starts. It's funny how people forget that one small thing can change everything just like rain and chalk. Kids draw all their hopes and dreams, and that one rain cloud can wash it all away. That change nobody can see coming can happen to you anytime to just wash it away and pretend like it never happened. Its like it fell off the edge of the earth and disappeared. I know this all because it happened to me and this is the story I'm going to tell you. No one knew what happened that summer, but I can take you back to the exact point where everything happened. This is the unforgettable summer of 1996.
CHAPTER 1
The year was ending and I had that sick nervous feeling in my stomach, like when it's your first plane trip and you watched a movie about a plane crash the day before. The day that summer break starts is the worst time for me. I know I sound crazy since every other teen loves this day, but I had a reason to have a different reaction for this day. I hated the last day of school so much because it always triggered something in my mom to move. My mom was downstairs packing the old school supplies that I used this year. We never had the money to buy new school clothes, or supplies that I can ever remember. With my mom and I working it's a little bit better, but we were still moving all the time, using new names, getting stacks of unpaid bills, and running away from everything I had grown used to, once again. This town was different then the other, we had been here three years and my mother wasn't saying a word about moving. Our house was an ugly yellow color, chipping paint, with no working heat, but it was a place I could call home. I was putting on makeup on upstairs when I heard my mothers voice.
"April, are you ready yet?"
I sighed lightly, taking in a deep breath.
"Yes mother! I'm coming down right now!"
I yelled back. I knew anger was flowing in my mother as I walked down the stair, seeing her sour face.Ps. I'm 15.
-
ANSWER:
You're info-dumping. And you're not telling the story through action but through narrative. Start with April going downstairs. I know that sounds boring. I know you'd rather fill in the details as to April's life before the action begins. But that is very, very boring. You can fill the reader in on her past later, otherwise you have a paragraph of boring prose before anything plot-advancing even happens. Also, I count that paragraph above 'Chapter 1' as a prologue. You do NOT need it. You're using it to build up tension and that is the wrong way to use the prologue.

QUESTION:
I love this girl so much how could I ever think of laying a hand on her?
Well I dont think I could possably ever hurt my children and I think Supernanny is a great example but I like to know about others to so are you going to hit your kids and where do you personally draw the line would you use weapons (belts, wooden spoons), would you thump a child or smack them across their face. thank you for your answers!
Thanks njmizern... thats slightly creepy.-
ANSWER:
I'm not a parent, but I don't think I would ever do any of that to my kids, if I ever have any. I want them to learn from their mistakes, not learn to be afraid of phsyical punishment. It's totally unfair to use physical strength just because I can. If you (well, not you personally but you know what I mean) don't want your kids to settle things with their fists, lead by example!

QUESTION:
Need tutorial/guides on Basic ?
Hi,
I been looking around for a good Tutorial, sort of like a video Lesson. I wanted to see more of how to draw the face, where everything goes, proportions and how to do it step by step. I do not wanna learn anything False, some random quick way, I want the real thing on how to do it.
Are there any programs that teach you how to draw, showing the proportions, arrangements, how to arrange, how to shade, where to shade, where and how to "twist" things. Like sort of drawing other then just a straight face.
I want all the sources you can throw at me, details, little tips and things that I should be looking at. Again, please do not give me some random trick a kid/adult made for an easy way to draw faces.Thank you!
-
ANSWER:
Well, there are lots of tutorials on Deviantart, and also some by individual artists, you can also look up books in the library. You need to look for in-depth books if you're serious about it. I can't think of many references right now, but...Some tips and hints to help.DRAW. FROM. REAL. LIFE. You can't learn a single thing if you don't draw from real life. You can try and draw from you're mind aaaaaall you want, I tried, and you realize it can not happen. So find references, photos, and give it you're best shot. If you study the light source of pictures, it should be somewhat easy to figure out where shading goes naturally eventually.
And remember, no one becomes an artist overnight, you won't be drawing amazing portraits in a couple weeks, maybe not even in a couple years unless you've got some craaaaaaaaazy gift like a couple people I know do.
Ask for critiques, other people will ALWAYS, always, ALWAYS. Spot flaws you couldn't. Even if you can't go back and fix it, you'll know that for next time. A good thing for beginners doing portraits is putting what looks like a long T that bends around the face. Here are some examples.
http://www.elftown.com/stuff/port1.jpg?jpg=y
See how its broken down into shapes, and those little lines on the face? It makes it easier, and those lines tell you where everything goes, especially when its in perspective. And also, if you look at a human body and start thinking "OH MY GOD! HOW ON EARTH CAN I DO THIS?!" Just try and breaking the body down into simple shapes to help you along. I still do it, and I've been drawing FOREVER, and I'm a visual arts major. ((Drawing is my specialty.)) Its a good tool ALWAYS.
And you need some good tools. Don't press down on you're pencil/drawing utensil too hard. It will leave indents in the paper and you can't really erase it later, which makes the final product look unclean and sloppy. Make sure you have a good eraser, I recommend Mar.
Don't be disappointed if the first one, or the first 20 don't come out that well. If you just keep practicing, everything will work out.
Good luck. :3

since i was a kid ive been very good at drawing and illustrating but i cant find an art style that I, ME, made. ive been bouncing round from, manga, cartoon, comic, and even realistic and i just cant find a style for me. what i think depicts and separates styles are the faces of the characters. i wud really like to learn to draw faces like in comic books, realistic, but at the same time, personalize it so its still manga/cartoonish ( for example, like death note art). i really want to be good. some of my idols are, bleedman (his art is sooo unique and awesome), yascha (unique and awesome), sjdraco ( sooooo diferent and vintage). i wud also like to know just how to get my sketchbook to look more...SKETCHY. i say this cause my current one just looks like a book full of masterpieces. PLEASE, someone give me an answer. i wud appreciate ur help. oooh, i almost forgot, i wud like to be able to draw bodies like those from, teen titans, justic league, and young justice from cartoonnetwork and how to draw clothing-

you'll find your style by drawing whatever you want, you should never do a drawing thinking about what people will say. DO WHAT YOU WANT, DO WHAT YOU FEEL LIKE DOING, that´s the only way to discover your real style.

QUESTION:
OMG what do you think. please answer?
Tell me what you think please, any advice anything would be great. thanks:)The killer walked slowly through the kitchen, following the sound of the television. He took in details from the house, from the cream walls to a kids drawing stuck to the fridge. He skimmed his blue eyes over everything there was to see and his athletic body moving silently over the tiled floor. Looking out the kitchen window above the sink he saw the still body of the woman who had come out to meet him under the veranda. With blood staining her blonde hair and the concrete immediately around her she lay on her back, with a bullet hole between her eyes and her dressing gown ripped from the struggle to get free. He came to a hallway and with the sound of a television leading him, he continued on. On the walls he saw photos of a girl playing. The photos were in a line along the wall, starting with a baby in the photo and getting older in the next one. When the photos got to her being about 7, her hair disappeared, her face got a pale sick look and her body became frail. There were 12 photos in all, ending three quarters of the way down the hall. The last photo showed the girl about 8 years old. He was close now and his mind drifted from getting to his target to how he would go about doing what he had planned for 3 months. He already had the unexpected arrival of the woman outside.
He pulled a silenced pistol from his pocket as he came to the doorway, holding it in by his side. He poked his head through the doorway. Yes, there was the girl sitting by herself on the couch, watching a movie on the loud television. He started to walk into the room, there was a thump. He froze, looked down and saw that his boot had knocked against the corner of a plastic doll house.
“Angela,” the little girl called, not taking her eyes off the T.V. “Was that you?” There was no answer. The little girl mustn’t of heard the short fight outside. She didn’t know that Angela had been dead nearly 5 minutes. “Angela?” she said again.
He stepped around the doll house. “Hello Josephine,” he said quietly, just loud enough for her to hear him. The girl jumped and spun to look at him.
“Dan, why are you here?” she asked, startled.
“I thought I’d come to help out.” He rose he gun arm so that the pistol pointed at the girls chest. “Your cancer has been pretty bad lately hasn’t it?” The killer continued, speaking as though this were one of the normal conversations they had at the hospital.
“Yeah,” Josephine kept her eyes locked on the gun pointed at her. “Where’s Angela?” She asked him.
“She’s outside, she won’t annoy us anymore.” He paused, “I want to help you Josephine, I really do.”
“You help me at the hospital.” She said, her very starting to go high pitched. She was getting scared.
“I want to help you more,” He said, “I’ve seen how people suffer with cancer and its unfair how you must go through what you are. Everyone hates seeing people in pain,” and before Josephine could even reply, he adjusted his aim to her face and fired.
damn, Sorry theres mistakes in there. I just noticed thats not my corected version =P

ANSWER:
Killer trying to end the suffering of people with terminal illnesses, right? I like the idea. You need more sentence variation and cutting out of fillers/ redundancies.
"Aimed at her face" is sufficient in the last line.
The killer walked slowly through the kitchen, following the sound of the television ("towards", because the sound isn't actually going before him to lead the way) . He ran his blue eyes (what kind of blue?) over everything in the house, from the cream coloured walls to a child's (kid is too informal) drawing stuck to the fridge (if he notices everything, perhaps describe the magnet used to hold up the picture) (in first half of sentence, combined it with your old next sentence, because they pretty much say the same thing).
Hope that helps.

QUESTION:
How do we get through to our 8yr old son hitting just isnt acceptable?
Our 8 yr old has mild autism, but fully functioning apart from socially and the past month has been very bad for him,we have been working with the school and psychologist to help him but nothing is getting through to him.
We tried no tv,no bike,no scooter and after the third week in a row of having to punish him for hitting or kicking someone at school we then were forced to draw up a big chart with beautiful christmas presents on and he would get one crossed off every time he misbehaved at school,we really thought that would be the end of it cos no kid wants to mess with christmas right??Well we are now up to present three and our hearts are breaking thinking we are going to have to follow through with it .What to do next!!!!!I thought maybe write a letter directly from the North Pole might get him to think before he acts ,I remind him everyday to be good ,he knows right from wrong ,I told him he can win a present back if he behaves.Today he punched a kid in the face because he didn't want to be it.!!!!He does get a hard time from the kids cos he is so easy to wind up but as we tell him there is just no excuse to hit people ever.
I don't want to punish him at all but its not like we can just ignore the fact he is punching kids in the face .We have tried positive reinforcement and buddy systems this is really the end of a loooong list of things we have tried to get him to stop.Do you think we should give up on the present idea or will it seem like we are just blowing hot air without following through with our threats. We really want to just do the right thing for both our son and keep his peers safe.I even have a meditation cd I make him listen to when he gets really angry and also looking into getting him some bongo drums and a punching bag and gloves for christmas.
Its very frustrating and upsetting-
ANSWER:
I am so sorry for your situation. First off if he's having behavioral problems at school then the school needs to up his behavioral intervention therapy at school and home.Where is his aide when he's hitting these kids. They are responsible to keep his behaviors under control and if they can't they need a new behavior plan. If you don't have home therapy you should really look into an ABA program if he can get the same behavioral consequences at school, home and in the community it will help him generalize positive behavior better. It sounds like he needs more immediate consequences or rewards. What are his favorite things at school? Home? If its recess he needs to miss that if he's had a bad morning, Or maybe he could go to it earlier if he's good. You sound like you are doing a great job with him. Autism is hard and can see you are frustrated. Try working with his behavior team on better strategies. If he doesn't have a behavior team it's time for a new IEP.

QUESTION:
What's wrong with what I draw?
I told my dad that I drew a picture in my AP Art class, and a lot of kids thought it looked creepy and I thought it was funny. It's a human skull with paint on its face to look like a clown. Then my dad flat out tells me that I have to stop drawing "dark things" because it will "make you less marketable". Because I told him that I've considered getting a degree in Fine Arts when I'm at college (next year), and he said that if I only draw dark, scary things then I'll develop a reputation for being the "person who does all that dark crap". And if I was to apply for a job interview and they wanted to see my portfolio, then they wouldn't hire me because the subject of my artwork would be "too dark". Frankly I think he's an idiot because the subject matter has no effect on that. If he means I ONLY draw ONE TYPE of thing like Still Lifes all the time then they'll see that I ONLY do Still Lifes. But he has no idea how much more I do than drawing "dark crap" all the time, he really has no idea who I am, or how I do my art work. He even saw my pieces at the art ceremony and he still said they were "disturbing" well I probably had many more bright and colorful pieces then the dark ones where I have skulls and such. Though I still understand what he meant that I would be "less marketable" but he's still an idiot.-
ANSWER:
There are people who like the "dark type" for instance people who need drawings for tattoos, skate board graphics, and rock album illustrations. Also some dark films like tim burton and stuff. But, if you are going to go to a fine arts collage i'd recommend broaden your drawing styles. If you want to be mainly a darker artist that's great but at least have a profile built up with proof that you can produce another type of art. Variety is great, even if you only use the other types for work. For instance, I like to draw faces and when i learn to draw a new thing i spend weeks or months getting good at it but if i'm not constantly learning new material i'm stuck drawing the few things i can. What i need to do is learn to draw other things, even if i don't like it, to increase my variety.
Opinions, well you know what they're like. It only matters about your own opinion. If you are drawing for a customer, Absolutely try to stick to their wishes but if it is a drawing for yourself then express yourself the way you wish. If no one is paying you or relying on a certain image then draw what you want! Hey, creativity can be used for yourself as well!

QUESTION:
What are some good movies that emphasize both camaraderie and dissension between groups of kids?
I'm writing a vampire novel involving a group of boys in an orphanage in WW2, and they end up being led out of London to the south of France by a 12 year-old newly turned vampire boy who turns them into vampires to survive the war, and I need some good movies emphasizing themes of camaraderie and bitterness between boys, who range from 13 years old down to 8. It won't be so much about who holds authority within the group, since they all follow the boy who turned them.I just need some inspiration for different aspects I could write about =)
I've seen Lord Of The Flies, but does anyone know of any other good films? Also, dark-mooded movies involving kids would be of exceptional help, nothing really disturbing, but it would help inspire me for the conflict they all face when it comes to their envy of humanity.
Also, if you know of any good vampire movies involving kids, WW2 movies, or films showing how kids deal with the concept of death, etc. that would also be of help =) I don't really remember how I acted in my youth so I can't exactly draw from personal experience.

QUESTION:
I want to make one of the best kid websites?
I know it's a long shot and a daunting task to do, but while I was growing up I experienced so many problems and I came in association with people that had many problems as well. As a kid I faced many challenges. Some challenges easy, while other left me traumatized and engulfed with hatred and mixed feelings of sorrow. On to the real question. I want to make this website but I had several questions.
1) How hard is it make children games? Like the flash games for 5-12 year olds?
2) How long would it take me to learn the technical knowledge to build a well maintained site?
3) Do I have to learn drawing to make a good site/header graphics/ etc?
Just a few questions I had that hopefully a person well associated with the technology of today can answer. The site I had in mind will have games, articles, links to good organizations, and I will orient fun events for children. I was never let outside as a child and it hurts me, I never want another child to face that.

QUESTION:
Why do I feel so alone and neglected?
First of all, I had friends. But everybody in my grade looks up to this girl who apparantly is "So pretty" and has "the look". All the guys like her, flirt with her, talk to her, and all the girls tell her how pretty she looks.
I've never been told that I was pretty, my whole life. Ever.
My friends all left me to hang out with that girl. I try hanging out with them, I try talking to them. Acting nice. They don't even respond to me.
I was always nice to them. I never did anything bad to them, to anybody!
I tried talking to other people, but everybody is so focused on that one girl, that I have no friends, There's nobody else like me. I've tried looking for people who feel like me, but I can't find any. I've tried fitting in with the crowd but nothing helps.
I try saying hi to people and they walk away pretending they didn't hear me.
I want to DIE. My mom, tells me that I just want to be the centre of attention and for me to get over it and stop expecting everybody to be friends with me. She abuses me, gets mad at me at whatever I do. She hits me and doesn't let me call Kids Help Phone or 911.
My dad doesn't live with us.
I love to draw. Nobody has ever told me I'm good at it, but I like it.
Today I drew a picture of beautiful swans in a lake. Then another swan, left out of the crowd.
I want some ideas as well on drawing left out pictures. In a creative way, I'm not good at drawing faces. I have some art pencils and stuff and books so I'm kinda experienced. Advice on feeling left out (ive talked to the people, and the girls, and a counselor) and on what I can draw!
if you really read all this, thank you so much it really means a lot to me!
God bless!-

QUESTION:
Need help with career choice, what would you do if this was your life?
I'm a guy, seventeen, a senior in high school in America. By this time I'm sure most kids will have some idea on the direction they'd like to go in after high school--what sort of majors they might want to declare, the start of the career path they want, etc. I know many people change their careers several times, and many people go undecided, but my situation just leaves me confused as to what to do.The thing I know for sure is that I want to go to college. I also know I want to pick a college/university based on whether or not they offer a concentration in courses that are suitable for what I want to be doing AFTER college. The problem is, I don't have the vaguest idea what that is.
Funny thing is, I actually know what I want. And I know some about what I am:
--- I am artistic, imaginative, and creative more than anything. I love drawing, creating, etc. My notebooks are more often filled with sketches than class notes. I love to read.
--- My writing is among my strengths. I speak and persuade well, but am not comfortable as I want to be yet (could use much improvement with stage fright, for example).
--- I find humor in a lot of things. I take the world lightly. I love to present my ideas.
--- I tend to lack interest in math, numbers, politics, papery bland white stuff like that. I realize its importance, but t's white noise to me. I tend to think that being too realistic is restrictive.
--- I'm more often optimistic than pessimistic. I dream and tend to be hopeful about things where others will discourage me. I'm very inclined to reach for things that others will perceive is out of their grasp.
--- I'm easily awed by things... I appreciate being able to see depth in regular things. I'll be the first to point out the fact that I can see the clouds go on forever on the horizon today, or I'll over-describe how I'm perceiving something just to make sure I conveyed an emotion or idea as exactly as I can.
--- I do well with computers. I enjoy digital art (2d and 3d), and I have an interest in scripting/programming.
--- Big interests in music, film, acting, and the media in general.
--- If I could, I would have taken up learning singing, the piano, guitar, drums, and other instruments, even dancing early on and can very well imagine myself having a rolling garage bands with friends now. Same thing for school plays and such.
--- I want adventure and change. Travel, maybe. I can't imagine having a job where I do the same thing over and over again for years. I tend to imagine my ideal job as having some sort of travel involved, yacht trips or something, hahah.
--- High pay and job security. Also, the opportunity to advance (and be payed more ;p).
--- I want to have a flexible schedule, or a schedule that isn't too heavy on constant work. I need family/getaway time.
--- Most importantly, I want to end up doing something that I LOVE to do. Many people give up and accept their fate as having to do WORK for a living. Some instead choose to (or have bestowed on them) the opportunity to LIVE and get paid. I'd much prefer a job that is a source of joy and livelihood.Occupational fields that interest me one way or another: photography, film direction, acting, music, film/video editing, animation, fashion design, automotive design, marine biology (dunno), news correspondent, news anchor. So. Personality wise, I'm very strong on the art and creativity side. It burns in me, I wish I could do it all, and there isn't enough time or room to do it. Problem: Due to religion, I must restrict myself. I cannot engage in creating music (though I admit I have a deep desire for it). I can't draw faces or create images of humans/creatures (that includes video, and makes film/media/animation/photography problematic).
To give an idea... occupational fields that have somehow interested me one way or another: photography, film direction, acting, music, film/video editing, animation, fashion design, automotive design, marine biology (dunno), news correspondent, news anchor, fiction writer, video game design, illustrator, business/finance, teaching.
Thus, I have outrageous, screaming desires for what I want to do with my life and where I want to invest my studies, but I don't know how to fulfill them. I'd love to go in a direction that pays well, uses my skills/talent, feeds my want for some adventure and expressing myself creatively, but allows me to stay true to my beliefs. Most of all, I want to end up enjoying what I do as a hobby and livelihood, not strenuous or bland labor.
In other words, I need an optimum option that meets these goals. I can't really find one. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Can you pinpoint something or reassure me of a certain way to go?
Whoops, I realize there's a huge repeat there in the end. Mistake. So far, all that is for sure is that I'm going to a community college (cheaper, more time to figure things out) first before I hope to transfer, by which time I will hopefully be sure enough to declare a major.

ANSWER:
Seems like you have a really good broad idea where you want your career to go. It sounds like design work may be a good fit and perhaps using computers - say graphic design. I'd suggest you pick 5 jobs that most appeal to you and spend some time doing some detailed research. Use all your contacts to find people in these jobs. Find out what they do and how they got into the job - what qualifications did they have?

i recently started dating again so now i leave my 4-year-old daughter and my newborn son at daycare so i can have fun with my new bf
