The best eye cream for under eye wrinkles promotes healthy collagen and elastin fiber production while tightening and firming skin around the eyes and brow.

Just like other wrinkles anywhere on the face, under-eye wrinkles are formed due to aging, lack of moisture, and exposure to the elements - free-radical damage. While it is almost impossible to prevent every line and wrinkle from forming, you can prevent and treat the deep, static wrinkles with the use of an effective anti-aging cream or serum.

How Do I Prevent Under Eye Wrinkles?

Prevention should start in childhood and continue during the teenage years. Limiting exposure to the sun (sunscreen) as wellenvironmental pollutants that can harm the skin is one of the best ways to defer the formation of sagging, linesor loose skin.

For those past their teenage years, serums and creams formulated for the sensitive skin below the eyes is recommended. Products that contain Argireline, Collagen III, together with Hyaluronic Acid work best.

Argireline, Collagen II and other ingredients such as Matrixyl firm and tighten lessening the appearance of lines and wrinkled skin. Effects are long-term with the use of Hyaluronic Acid that provides instant hydration to prevent dryness- a leading cause of expression lines and static (permanent) wrinkling.

Lifestyle-wise, wearing sun glasses and limiting exposure to free-radicals, such as UV light and pollution will help as well. Other things that may help are to quit smoking and to follow a balanced nutrition plan. Creams that use antioxidants such as Green Tea or Idebenone work well to erase fine lines while providing protection from free-radicals - considered a leading cause of pre-mature skin aging.

What Ingredients Are Important in an Under Eye Cream?

Argireline is one of the most powerful peptides available today and is frequently compared to Botox, but without the necessary injections. Peptides relax the skin and reduce the depth and density of wrinkled complexion. Matrixyl and Collagen III act in a similar fashion. They are the key active ingredients to look for inthe best under eye wrinkle cream.

As mentioned, Hyaluronic Acid improves moisture and promotes healthy cell membrane development and Aloe Vera extract helps soothe and replenish lost oils. Cucumber extract and Omega 3s also help increase cellular "turnover" - a key to improving complexion and tone.

The best eye cream for under eye wrinkles provides a host of benefits - smoothing and tightening, while offering renewed, healthy cell development for long-term (and short-term) results.

Steaming your face weekly will help keep your pores clean and clear of dried body oils which mix with dust, skin cells and make-up. Steaming your face is inexpensive, luxurious helps maintain your skin.

You already know that microdermabrasion treatment is the fastest, most economical way to maintain your face. Now add weekly steam treatments before moisturizing and get even bigger personal rewards.

Pour water into slow cooker, cover and place on high for 30 minutes.

While your water heats, wash your face to remove dirt, makeup, and oil from your skin, then perform your microdermabrasion treatment.

Back to your crock pot, cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into the water. Now cut the lemon into slices and add that to the mixture. Reduce to medium, or low heat and re-cover for five minutes.

Weekly steaming of your face helps maintain your skin in a more youthful condition. Warm steam will deep clean your skin, opening the pours and pushes out impurities blocking your pores.

Allow your face to steam for 10-15 minutes by placing a towel over your head and holding your face ten to twelve inches above the steaming liquid. It should be warm, not hot to your skin, adjust the temperature by raising of lowering your face.

Following your facial steam, rinse your face with cold water and gently pat dry. Now apply your moisturizer. It is essential to moisturize your face daily and twice daily is better, but it is especially important after you steam.

This will dissolve any oil that has hardened with impurities and become stuck in your pores. The steam will open your pores, allowing dust, skin cells etc. to be easily removed.

People with extra dry skin are advised that it may better to steam only once a month. Even once a month steaming will contribute to a youthful, vibrant face.

The skin care industry would have you believe any number of outrageous claims most of which seem convenient to the use of whatever product they are hawking at the moment. Steaming your face is something positive you can do for just about the cost of the lemon.

			QUESTION:
Will doing this be harmful?
I have been using two products in conjunction that seem to be working.

The first one I use everyday in the morning before I shave, it is the Gillette thermal face scrub.
http://www.gillette.com/en/us/Products/skin-care/proseries/proseries-thermal-scrub.aspx

The second, I use most nights before I go to bed and that one is Nivea for Men deep cleaning face wash.
http://www.en.niveaformen.ca/products/face_cleansing/deep_cleaning_face_wash.html

Everything seems to be in working order but I just wanted to know if continued usage would be potentially harmful or if it's "too much" to be using.

				ANSWER:
You are supposed to be washing your face at least 3 times a day. You are using the right products but it would be better to use only one brand and not two in a day.
Apply an oil-free moisturiser with spf at day time for protection and moisturization. Your daily regimen depends on your age. If you are in your teens then do use a moisturiser with spf for protection from sun damage.

			QUESTION:
Is my facial wash too strong?
I use Nivea Men's Deep Cleaning Facial Wash (http://www.niveaformen.com/products/face_cleansing/conditioning_face_wash.html) and I'm only 16. I use it once a week as when I used it first I felt that my skin became too dry and I feared that it was too strong for me. Is this product really too much for my age to handle?

In addition to that, will frequent washing of my face make it oily? My face becomes oily when its too humid and the oily bit is usually concentrated on my forehead. How do I cure this?

Also, mind posting some tips and useful suggestions on facial washing? Like the temperature of the water used and the way I scrub my face? Thanks!

				ANSWER:
I'd suggest using a more mild face wash. Anything too harsh will only dry out your skin and worsen the condition. Because you're sixteen, your skin is very different than what the skin of older men is like, so you could try products directed to teens.

When looking for facial cleansers, look for labels that say "Gentle" or "Hypoallergenic" on them so you know you are using a safe product. Experimenting with products is always good, but test them on a patch of skin on your arm (wait 2-3 hours) first to test for bad reactions.

Also look for products with more natural ingredients, those are always preferable. Still check for allergies. Sometimes allergies don't look very prominent and don't leave rashes, but will make acne worse.

Try using Cetaphil, Acne Aid, Clean&Clear... don't be afraid to use "girly" cleansers, just hide it when people come over.

Really, Trial and Error is the best way to choose or seeing a Dermatologist.

Use warm but not really hot water on your face when cleaning, and close your pores after by rinsing with cold water splashes 4-5 times. Always dry with a clean towel, and pat-dry, don't rub. Scrub your face in circular motions.

If you want a really quick solution, put honey on your face, Sounds weird, but put it on and leave it, rinse after 20 minutes and your skin will look great, it really works.

I'll leave some links to help. Good luck!

			QUESTION:
Is this a great Facial Routine?Improving?
Every morning when I take a shower I use the Nivea for men moisturizing face wash or the Neutragena invigorating face wash, when I get out and I'm done putting on my clothes and gel I put on Neutragena Men triple protect face lotion spf 20.

Now comes the tricky part

When I go to sleep I first start with L'Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Exfoliating Scrub (I exfoliate every single day, even though I know you're suppose to only do it 3 times a week max, I don't know if this is bad)
Then I proceed to use either Proactiv System or Clearasil Ultra Acne + Marks Wash and Mask then with the Proactiv Repairing lotion.

I also use a glycolic acid peel 35% every Monday for approximately 8 minutes (Been doing it for the last two months, I recently ordered a glycolic acid 50%/ Lactic Acid 60% combination peel.) I do this after I'm done exfoliating, then when I wash off the peel I put the Neutragena Triple protect face lotion to go to sleep.

I would like for somebody to tell me if this is good system or should I remove/add some things?

My skin type is combination.

				ANSWER:
First off, get rid of any acne treatments you have! Salicylic acid and Benzoyl peroxide are very harsh on the skin and cause more irritation than you need. Now what you need to do it get a gentle facial cleanser. Natural is always better. Next get a good toner. A toner is THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP TO CLEAR SKIN! A toner restores your skin to the natural PH levels in your skin. It's alright if a toner contains a small percentage of salicylic acid. Next get a gentle, not thick lotion. Lotion restores the natural hydration to your face. Usually on the label of the lotion it always says something about dry irritated skin. Well when using salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide your making the skin dryer and more irritated then it already is!
P.S: You may break out a little more only because your bringing all the toxins in your face to the surface. Once there is no toxins, you cant break out!(: Your skin should be perfectly clear in a couple weeks. (Some people see results right away.)

			QUESTION:
My face is breaking out - help!?
I am a 21 year old male and up until the past few months I have never had real bad acne. Before the new year I was using the Oxy face wash (10% Benzyol Peroxide) and the Oxy pads (2% salicylic acid) and the spot treatment.

I switched to the Nivea for Men (Sensitive) but it seem not to work. I was using the Q15 moisturizer along with it. Now at the present date I am back to the Oxy and my face seems to be worse than before.

I have scars and bumps and I can see future one's sprouting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. What is the best solution to cleansing my face? I try to sleep on a clean towel but nothing seems to work!

I was thinking about trying the Dove for Men's deep cleaning bar soap but I'm not sure. Any product recommendations would help. I have googled this from time and time again. Searched Yahoo answers and I couldn't find any answers. Maybe YOU can be the first to help! Thanks in advance!

- Trav

				ANSWER:
Don't use anymore products that contain salicylic acid and other drying ingredients!!!!!!!!!!

Possibly what has happened is you over dried your skin and now it has become overly sensitive, and this is what is making you break out! (This has happened to me, after using Pro Active for too long , once my skin got better.)

What people don't realise is that your skin type is always changing, and it is very easy to push it over in to another skin type over time.
Also it is very important that you know the following:
salicylic acid is one of the strongest types of chemical...It is only allowed to be in a maximum of 3% in products. the way it works is that it starts to dry the skin in the certain area it was applied to, and this sends a message to the cells to start producing more "skin"...thus it helps to "peel away blemishes". What they also DON'T tell you about it, is that each time you treat the area again with the chemical, it becomes a more and more intense effect.

All the drug store labels such as Oxy, Neutrogena, Clean and Clear...etc all contain usually these ingredients (Also they do not separate dry combination skin and OILY Skin...they only have COMBINATION). Now since your skin is over dried and sensitive, you MUST stop using these brands.

Bad news: You will have to invest in some major good quality skin care.
The must haves I would recommend and SHOP FOR SENSITIVE DRY SKIN from now on until your skin gets better :
A good cleanser either water based or a milk. ( Clarins is great Acive Jour One step cleanser and tonic is AMAZING!)
Buy a great moisturizer!! ( Biotherm, Clarins again is great...also LIERAC, Avene, La Roche Posay...this last one is especially for sensitive skin)
For spots : La Roche Posay Effaclar A.I. or some tea tree oil, though it could be too strong.

Make sure you moisturize morning and evening...also VICHY an La Roche Posay have these thermal water sprays that refresh your skin and help calm irritation! You should try that definately!!
Only use spot treatments on the blemish.
Do not over wash your face. Your skin needs its natural oils.

Good luck , I hope it helps! I know how irritating this problem is

			should i wear face powder?
Hi,
So I am 16 and here is my skin type:

-dry
-sometimes get pimples near forehead and around nose, but not much
-sensitive

My evening skincare routine is (and my skin is pretty flawless):

-aveeno daily brightening scrub
-mary cohr soothing face cleanser
-mary cohr perfect defense cream OR ponds dry skin cream

I have been looking into powder for these reasons:

-my face gets really red throughout the day because I have Erythrophobia
-i don't know if most girls my age wear powder
-just another thing to add to my morning routine

However...I want it to look natural and not irritate my dry, sensitive skin.

Does face powder clog pores?

Are you supposed to wear face powder over a foundation or primer, or can you just put it on after you moisturize?

If I am content with my skin, should I still use powder? My skin doesn't get oily though. I just thought it would make my skin look perfect!

Also, do any of you have any tips on how to keep my face from blushing a lot and just how to cover it up? Because it isn't just my cheeks, my whole face turns bright red!! Should I wear powder for that and will it help conceal it?

				ANSWER:
NO!!! Powder will make your skin even drier!!! I have dry skin too, and powder made my skin so horribly dry it is not even funny! Wear a tinted moisturizer instead, which will do the same thing as powder but it good for dry skin.

You don't have to spend an ton of cash to moisturize and maintain your sensitive skin. The priciest moisturizer for your sensitive skin is not always going to be the most effective brand. While there are some very high quality brands that charge a pretty penny, you can also look forward to some impressive results from less expensive moisturizers.

If you have sensitive skin, you should refrain from products with fragrance added to them. While they may smell pretty, fragrance is the most common originator of irritation in skin. Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 is a stellar product that not only contains sun screen to protect you from the sun's dangerous rays, but it works to calm irritation and redness. All for about .00. What a steal!

Cetaphil is another company developing fragrance free moisturizers, that are not only affordable- they are really excellent. Their moisturizing lotion contains emollients and humectants that help moisture really permeate deep into your skin. And their products will not irritate sensitive skin. They offer different types of moisturizers to cater to the different skin types and will work with the dryness of your skin. At about .00 for their regular moisturizing lotion, you are really getting a superb value for your cash.

If you haven't heard about the next product I'm going to review, CeraVe, you are really missing out. Dermatologists all over are recommending CeraVe to their patients, and you don't even need a prescription to purchase it. But if you are taking a prescription medication for your skin- CeraVe is ideal to use in combination with it. CeraVe moisturizes deep into your skin and is even effective in aiding the treatment of eczema and psoriasis. It's a fantastic product, and if you haven't tried it- you need to. It is about .00 and you can purchase it at drugstores as well as online.

I hope you check out these three options in treating and moisturizing your sensitive skin. I know you can have the skin you've always dreamed of!

			QUESTION:
When a face moisturizer has SPF 15, will your face not tan?
I don't mean really tan, but I want my face to match my body color. My face can't be white with a light tanned body.

				ANSWER:
SP15 is good for your face as it is exposed longer than any other part of your body to the sun. So yes you will tan and do so safely continue to use it

			QUESTION:
Does anyone know if the Yes to Carrots face moisturizer with SPF 15 works? Or what does it do?
I just bought the yes to carrots moisturizer and the Clean and clear finishes moisturizer. Kind of looking to see which one is better?
My skin has moderate acne, but my main concern is it not feeling oily and helping to even out my skin tone.

				ANSWER:
Clean and clear is better if you're already oily.
I used the YTC and I got the biggest rash I've ever had. Went all the way down my neck. Ew.

But the Clean and clear will be more drying to your skin, which will make you produce more oil. What you want is a balancing moisturizer.

			QUESTION:
Neutrogena Healthy Skin face lotion spf 15 vs. Neutrogena Oil-Free moisturizer spf 15?
Which one is better?
Did it give you breakouts/clog your pores?
What does it smell like?
Is it light or thick?
Is is greasy?

Please help me on this! Reveiws are great and any other additional info will be awsome!

If you didn't like these then can you recommend a moisturizer with an spf that treats/prevents/doesn't give you acne?

				ANSWER:
All Neutrogena skin care products are hypoallergenic. I still use the Neutrogena Dry-Touch Sunblock with SPF70 and their Skin Firming Lotion with SPF20. I have never had a problem with any Neutrogena products and they are recommended by Dermatologists and Cosmetic Surgeons because I have asked. Because all of their skin care products are hypoallergenic, they have very little smell and they do not have additives that will break you out. Neutrogena makes very safe products and all the products I have used are light and non-greasy. The only problem is that SPF15 is very light. You may want to add a non-greasy sunblock like the one I mentioned above under your moisturizer, especially if you have light colored skin because it tends to burn more easily than medium and dark colored skin.If you have oily skin, I would try the Oil-Free moisturizer. I am just the exact opposite but I have very sensitive skin, so I want a little extra moisture in my lotion. Personally, I love Neutrogena skin care productsbecause they have a line that suits almost everyone!!
I hope that this is of some help to you! ☺

			QUESTION:
Is my face moisturizer with SPF 15 is enough to prevent me from getting a noticeable tan in the summer?
Okay well I am on the dance team at my school and we now have to run more outside. So, that means more minutes in the hot, blazing sun! I do not want to get a noticeable tan..AT ALL! So I apply and reapply SPF 50 all over my body, i know it sounds ridiculous but that is how serious I am. However, I have this Murad Mattifier that contains SPF 15 for my face.
I am wondering is SPF 15 enough to last me from 2:40-3:15 with direct sunlight? Or do I need to get SPF 30? Also, do I need to reapply the SPF 15 before we run for better protection? Thanks for having the patience to read this!
let me change that time to 2:35-3:15pm! thanks!
okay well here are the ingredients if that helps((:

Active Ingredients:
Ensulizole 1.0%
Octinoxate 7.5%
Zinc Oxide 3.0%

okay well those are the ACTIVE ingredients for my Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 by Murad!

				ANSWER:
The SPF does not tell you about tan protection. Make sure the sunscreen has zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, avobenzone or Parsol 1789. One of these active ingredients will block UVA well and prevent a tan. Reapply as needed. Unless you are sweating it off one application 15-30 min before you run should be good. If you use the zinc or titanium types you can apply it right before you leave. They reflect rather than absorb light.

				ANSWER:
I have very oily skin and i'm pretty sure that i have the same moisturizer as you.(does it say 100% oil free on the box?) if it doesnt then you should get that one because it worked great for me. it doesnt cause breakouts and is absorbed immediately. Good luck!:)

			QUESTION:
is a moisturizer with SPF 15 enough for protecting my face in the summer?
if i wear sunscreen on my face it always manages to get into my eyes and burn.

				ANSWER:
If you're outside for any amount of time in the summer, you do need something stronger, probably at least an SPF 30. Rather than applying it right up to your eyes, you could try blending it around the eye area and then wear sunglasses (which have proper UV protection) to protect the area around the eyes- they'll stop you squinting and developing lines that way as well. You could also try a thicker product like Mac's Prep and Prime SPF 50, which won't run into your eyes like some sunscreens can.

Has a very light, cool texture. Great for any skin types, especially for very sensitive areas around eyes, nose, lips and on your neck. If you think that only dry skin needs moisturizing, you are wrong! Even oily or acne-prone skin requires quality moisture to stay and feel younger and healthier. Oiliness may even be a result of extreme moisture loss due to a long wind or sun exposure, physical or psychological stress. Your skin will try to protect itself from being too dry and prevent a future moisture loss by producing extra oil which eventually may clog the pores. Oil Free Moisture with SPF 15 will comfort, calm your skin and prevent it from damage.
If applied over Repairing Lotion (Step 3) overnight, the Oil Free moisturizer will help to reduce a slight tingling feeling of benzoyl peroxide formula for sensitive skin and will prevent occasional dryness the next day.

Use this Oil Free Moisture with SPF 15 on your face, neck, and shoulders once a day, every day, in the morning or afternoon before going outside. Use by itself or under makeup. If using under makeup, apply the Oil Free Moisturizer on clean skin, let it dry for about 5 minutes, and apply your makeup over it. If using over Repairing Lotion, allow the Lotion to dry for about 10 minutes, apply the Oil-Free Moisture after, let it dry for about 5 more minutes, and use only oil-free makeup to keep a thin layer of Repairing Lotion in immediate touch with your skin and still working. You may notice that your skin becomes smoother, softer, and less irritated after using the Oil-Free Moisturizer. No sun damage will be made to your skin if you keep using Oil Free Moisture with SPF 15.

Oil Free Moisture with SPF 15 may be used by itself as a gentle, hydrating moisturizer and quality sunscreen in one bottle, without ever using other Proactiv Solution items.

Remember to get a lot of fresh air, fresh fruits and vegetables, and good night sleep. Put yourself in a good mood every day and smile a lot because acne often comes as a result of a very stressful lifestyle. Try to take the problems easy - there is always a solution to any of them, find positive things around you, learn to relax from time to time and enjoy every minute of your life. You can do it!

I've been using Olay Complete moisturizer for sensitive skin (unscented) with SPF 15, but recently I've been trying to find products with SPF 30 because I'm on Retin-A Micro and burn easily enough as it is. QUESTION:
SPF face lotion, should I stop for tanning?
Every morning I use an SPF 15 face lotion as a moisturizer. As Prom is approaching, I'm going to start tanning. Is there a reason I should stop using the face lotion? I put it on in the morning before I go to school, and tanning would be after school, so would the SPF be ineffective by then?
Last year I didn't use a lotion with SPF, so I didn't have an issue...
Any answers appreciated!

				ANSWER:
Whether you are tanning or not, you should still use a SPF lotion. If you want to tan quickly, use a one with a low SPF factor, like 10 or 5. It will protect your skin, but still allow a nice tan. Remember, UVA rays can cause skin cancer, try to protect your skin

			QUESTION:
Does anyone know of a good cheap spf 15 facial moisturizer that doesn't break you out?
I have oily skin but I still like to use a moisturizer cuz if I don't then it will get pretty dry. Right now i'm using the Neutrogena oil-free moisture spf 15 which is so awful. I've been using it for about 5 months only because its the only moisturizer that I found that actually is very moisturizing. The negative things about it, is that it makes me break out, it makes my face red, and it makes my skin very greasy. Everything else that i've tried has been either greasy, sticky, or it made my face red and irritated. I also tried the L'oreal Active Daily Moisturizer which was super sticky and I felt it on my face all day. I couldn't wait to wash it off. The only reason why I haven't tossed the Neutrogena one that i'm using is because I really can't find anything that moisturizes as well as this one. And even though it makes me break out i guess i've learned to just deal with it until i find somethin else. I also tried the new version of the Olay complete spf 15 moisturizer which made me break out and stung my face. So i havent had much luck in finding something So if anyone can recommend a good moisturizer then please let me know!

				ANSWER:
Hope in a Jar is expensive, but fully worth it! (Try the dollar sample first, and read the reviews on sephora.) Here is the link: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P212415&categoryId=B70
Clinique moisturizers are also fantastic! This one has spf: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P247716&categoryId=B70
I love their dramatically different moisturizing lotion/gel too! (They have no spf though...)
At the drugstore, my favorite moisturizers are:
Cetaphil: it's great if you have sensitive skin.
AVEENO! It is absolutely amazing. They have some with spf too!

			QUESTION:
how high should the SPF in your facial moisturizer be ?
well people say that you should have a face moisturizer with SPF in it to protect your face from sun damage and i have one but the SPF on mine is only 15, is that enough to protect me? and can i wear makeup over top of that moisturizer and will it still work ?

				ANSWER:
Well ultimately it depends on the type of skin you have. I use one that has SPF 15 and that is enough for me but your skin type might require SPF 55. You would have to know if it is too much for your face, but uslayy the higher the better.

			QUESTION:
Does anyone know of a good non-greasy facial moisturizer for acne with SPF?
I need an oil-free, non-comedogenic, non-greasy, waterproof, facial moisturizer with atleast SPF 15 + that doesn't leave white residue in my light facial hair and does not burn my eyes? I've used Cetaphil non-greasy facial moisturizer with SPF 15 for so long because it doesn't leave my face white, but it's too greasy and burns the eyes.

				ANSWER:
You can try Clinique, Origins, Kiehl's or Estee Lauder which have pretty good products but you may need to trial and error as everyone has different skin type and different preference. Moisturizer usually do not leave white residue which some sunscreen do. I personally prefer to use moisturizer and sunscreen separately as I do not use night moisturizer at the moment.

Do not use face moisturizer on eyes area which are more sensitive. Use eye cream/gel which is made specially for eyes area.

Do wait for at least 10 minutes or till the moisturizer is totally absorb by your skin before exposing yourself to the sun.

I would rather not have to buy another one if it's not necessary because all my face products really add up! But i definately don't want to do something that's bad for my skin.

				ANSWER:
It isn't bad for your per say but at night your skin goes through regeneration and a night cream is more specific - so when you have a few extra bucks pick yourself up a good night cream.

questions bout clean n clear oil free dual auction moisturizer & soft day moisturizer with spf 15?
my first question is about Clean & Clear (oil-free) Dual Action Moisturizer. the reviews ive seen said it worked, but one person said it has salicylic acid in it, which can cause the skin to dry so dont put too much on.. its a moisturizer and it dries it out? how? :S

and is it good for ppl with sensitive skin?

also, is it for the face, body or both?
2. does clean n clear soft day moisturizer with spf 15 good for ppl with sensitive skin and how many days does it take to get soft skin?

				ANSWER:
I started using this Dec. 20 to be exact. I wear it under my makeup. I apply it to not only my face but my neck as well. Yes it does have Salicylic Acid (acne medication) that's why it's called dual action. I have combination skin during the winter months. I've had no unwanted side effects from using this product, I'm happy with it and believe me I'm very careful with what I apply to my skin. I also have eczema (dry patches of skin that can be very itchy). It only take about a small amount, not a lot and it works. I also apply it after cleaning my face at the end of day, before going to bed. I like the way my skin feels and I will continue to use this product.

			QUESTION:
Why does my face moisturizer flake off?
I use Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Brightening Daily Scrub with Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15. I also use a bit of baby powder with aloe vera and vitamin E because without it the moisture from my face makes my bangs get greasy very easily.

Lately I noticed my skin was getting very dry and the moisturizer would flake off all over after it sat for a few seconds. My face sometimes feels like I have a mild sunburn even though I rarely go outside willingly. I don't use any heavy face make-up, just talc-free loose powder, my eye make-up, chap-stick and lip-stick.

Does anyone know what is going on or have any suggestions on how to fix said problem? I prefer to avoid products that use excessive chemicals (ex: proactive was way too harsh on my skin) I also have a problem with very mild acne, black-heads and red areas
QUESTION:
Natural face moisturizer for oily skin?
Heyy

I need a good all natural face moisturizer for oily skin. Also if you know of any all natural moisturizers with a spf 15 in them, that would be great!

Thank-you!!!

				ANSWER:
I have heard good things about Aveeno, but that is pricy and I am not sure how 'natural' they are.

Otherwise, as the others have said, Aloe vera is good. What I would also recommend is Jojoba oil, just a bit, as a moisturizer. Jojoba oil strongly resembles the body's natural oils, and using it wisely can help to calm your skin's oiliness. (Yeah, I know, it's strange; use oil to banish oil. But if you're already seeking moisturizer, I trust you understand the importance of not over-drying the skin, as that simply causes it to become irritated and over-produce oils.)

Lakm Fashion Week 2010 is just round the corner and the fashion industry is gearing up for another blast of pure beauty, indulgence and style. Names such as Tamara Moss, Simran Kaur Mundi, Nethra Raghuraman and Alesia Raut adorn the participant list for this event. Let us decode some of the make-up ideas from these models that you can wear too.

Classic make-up

The classic make-up is timeless, fresh and beautiful. This is a versatile look and is frequently seen on the catwalk. It gives an effect of fresh dewy complexion.

How?

(See Beauty Kit for recommendations)
To achieve a flawless classic look, apply a light-weight, loose mineral powder foundation or tinted moisturiser. Set it with compact powder.
Create a healthy glow on the cheeks by applying powder blush in coral peach or subtle pink. Apply it to the apples of the cheek and to the cheekbones for a more defined look.
Powder blush stays longer so avoid cream blushes.
Keep the lips neutral. Stick to the shades of pinkish browns or nudes. Lighter shades of pink will also help you attain a natural look. Give your eyes a soft smoky effect, using light browns or very light shades till the brow line. The eyeliner should not have a definite shape, so try to smudge the line close to the lashes. Apply a little mascara to open up the eyes.

No make-up look

The no make-up is a quick and on-the go look. This look has become popular on the catwalk recently. It gives an effect of a luminescent complexion.

How?

For this look, apply a liquid foundation and then correct all the flaws with a concealer or a corrector. Berzin Irani* suggests that an under eye concealer is absolutely essential.
To set the foundation, dust some face powder or a loose mineral powder.
Apply very little powder blush in plum or pink.
Highlight the cheekbones to create creating a chiseled look.
Keep the lips luminous by applying gloss in shades of pink or plum. Highlight the softness and suppleness of your lips.
The eyeliner should have a definite shape and try to use brown or blackish brown shades. Apply eye-shadow in shades of browns or chocolates and end with a little mascara to open up the eyes.

Femme fatale look

The Femme fatale make up look is timeless, beautiful and glamorous. This is a popular vintage look on the catwalk. It is an appropriate party or night time look.

How?

To achieve the Femme Fatale look, apply a liquid foundation and then correct all the flaws with a concealer or a corrector. Set the make-up with loose mineral powder.
Add definition and subtle highlights to the cheekbones with sculpting powder or a blush in browns or darker shades.
Create a vampish' pout. Stick to the shades of reds and plums to make your lips stand out with bold colours.
This look is high on drama, so the eyes should be bold and seductive. Use pastel shades to create a smoky eye. Use dark eyeliner to line near the lashes. Create voluminous eye lashes with two-three coats of mascara. The brows should be well defined as well. Kohl or kajal can be applied to define the eyes well.

Your skin is your body's largest organ. It is your protection from outside elements. Your skin is what people first notice on you. What you put on your skin or haven't is very important. If healthy skin is important to you and you want to know what wrinkle cream you should use then please read on.

People are more conscious about their skin and are looking for skincare products. As we age our skin begins to wrinkle and we are looking for cures to rid of wrinkles. The skin is made up of three layers:

1. The epidermis called the outer layer.
2. The dermis called the middle layer.
3. The subcutaneous called the inner layer.

Young skin does not have wrinkles because it holds moisture well. It also has a high level of elasticity and it stretches easily. This is your epidermis layer. The dermis contains fibers called elastin and a protein called collagen. As we grow older, the dermis loses both the elastin and collagen. The process begins this way that our skin gets thinner and becomes drier because it is harder for the dermis to get moisture.

We have a fat in the subcutaneous layer in the skin and as we age we lose fat which cause our skin to sag. This is called wrinkles.

You probably noticed that some people have more wrinkles than others. Young people can have more wrinkles than an older person the reason is of the sebum. Sebum is natural skin oil that the body produces.

Other reasons can be because of too much exposure to the sun. Squinting can cause crow's feet at the corner of the eyes. Wearing sunglasses can be a bid benefit. Another reason can be because they smoke.
Heredity has an effect as well. Some people will wrinkle earlier than others because of the genes we inherit.

If you are looking for a wrinkle cream, you will find many wrinkle products in the market of various brands. You should look for the best one for you because it is your skin. Some wrinkle creams can do more harm than good. There are some good wrinkle creams being sold out there in the market today and you can also decide to do it the natural healthy way as well.Take an overview of your skin and consider:- how much exposure to the sun
- do you wear sunglasses when outdoors
- do you smoke
- what you are eating
- what you are drinking
- age
- genesYour skin deserves good treatment and the best healthy skin care treatment so do your research first. Your skin goes through the natural aging process and you can give your skin an extra boost.

You've probably seen the commercials for Olay Regenerist. They have fancy serums and lotions for your skin. It is meant to make your skin look younger whether it's your entire face or just the skin around your eyes. It sounds like a great product, but does it really work?

It all depends on what you are going for. If you want to have more bouncy youthful skin you could use the Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment. Olay claims that it will give you a "mini-lift". If you go to drugstore.com you will see many good reviews for it. Real life success stories are the best to find out if it's right for you.

What's great about this product is that it is moisturizing. Next to sun protection, moisturizing is one of the best things you can do for your skin. Especially as you age, your skin becomes drier and drier and you will need to moisturize more. The Night Recovery Treatment does incredible things for your skin to moisturize it and it makes it very soft.
There are many products in the Olay Regenerist line that work to fight aging. The best way to have young skin is to keep young skin. You can do this by taking care of your skin, eating healthy, not smoking, and using sunscreen. Most of us don't follow this strict regimen for our entire life. If we did, who knows how young we would look even at age 50 or more.

If you didn't happen to follow a perfectly healthy lifestyle your entire life and your skin has some flaws you wouldn't mind hiding, Olay Regenerist can definitely help you. Many of us can benefit even just from some extra moisture. There are products such as the 14 day skin intervention, regenerating serum, peels, cleansers, and more.

Should you use Olay Regenerist products? It's worth a try. You may have an area that needs extra care such as your eyes and you only use their eye products. Or, you might not have many problem areas at all and so you use just a simple cleanser or moisturizer to help prevent further damage.

If you have slight skin damage, severe wrinkles, or just want to prevent future damage even if you are in your 20s, just giving Olay Regenerist a try can benefit you. If you don't like it, stop using. But you won't know if it will work or not unless you try.

Roc Skin Care - Anti-Aging and Wrinkle Creams

Roc Skin Care has for over a century been at the forefront of costmetics. Founded in France in 1952, Roc skin care was formed as a direct result of Dr Jean-Charles Lissarrauge's creation of the first ever cosmetic that didn't involve a perfume. Over 50 years on, Roc Skin Care is still producing great products and is among one of the largest cosmetic companies in the world and has been recently purchased by health giant Johnson and Johnson.

Roc Retinol Correxion is the flagship anti-aging product in the Roc Skin Care product line up. Even though there are several anti-aging options available, Roc uses Retinol as the key anti-aging element for all of their products. Retinol is simply a form of Vitamin A designed to be absorbed by the skin and remove or scrape the dead skin from the surface. This is done to stimulate new skin growth as well as the creation of new collagen leading to a more youthful appearance.

Even though the Retinol is a powerful anti-aging ingredient, it is also the Achilles heel of the Roc anti-aging product range. The reason for this is that Retinol, along with having anti-aging properties, it also a well known irritant for those with sensitive skin. The scraping away and removing the top layer of skin is known to lead to irritation with some skin types. Such irritation includes itchiness, redness and skin blemishing.

Although Roc's anti-aging products have proven to work for many users however there are the setbacks as mentioned previously. Definitely a product that may be worth considering especially if your skin is not ultra sensitive. On the other hand there are some great alternatives that will do as good of a job, if not better, than the main Roc products that will suit all skin types.

Olay is currently the market leader in many countries including USA, UK, and China. Olay has extended its heritage as a moisturizer to stay looking young, to formally creating the anti-aging category in mass stores with the launch of Total Effects in 1999.
